L.I.F.E. in the Abstract: An Exhibition Benefiting Living Independently For Ever

Abstract Art is intuitive, reflective, spontaneous. In creating abstract art, elements of color, the art materials themselves, and the act of creating are central. Eight contemporary east coast artists demonstrate this process: Peter Arvidson, Vivian Bower, Karen Coill, Reese Inman, Mike Landis, Sky Power, Helen Schulman, and Mike Ware. One gallery wall is reserved for work by students from L.I.F.E. whose abstract art affirms that all persons, regardless of physical or emotional ability, possess intuitive talents.
